The Detroit Pistons arrived to their game against the Utah Jazz with a 24-game losing streak in their name.
And even though, the Utah Jazz, who are struggling themselves this season, were playing on the second night of a back-to-back and were without their best players in Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson, Keyonte George and Talen Horton-Tucker, the Pistons still fell 119-111… at home!
There isn’t much hope for the Pistons, who now have lost 25 consecutive games, only one loss shy of the single season NBA record for the longest losing streak (set by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2013-14 and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2010-11).
They are on the verge of breaking the league record of 28 consecutive losses in the regular season, set by the 76ers in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
Pistons fans also seem to have given up and even started chanting “sell the team” after 25th straight loss tonight.
