In a resounding victory over the Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson put an end to the 5,801-day triple-double drought and welcomed the New Year with a bang.

The Jazz dominated the game, defeating their Western Conference rival with a score of 127-90, marking the largest win during the tenure of coach Will Hardy.

Jeremy Clarkson finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, causing for the fans to go crazy after collecting his 10th and final rebound in garbage time.

Prior to Clarkson, it was Carlos Boozer who last accomplished a regular-season triple-double for the Jazz on February 13, 2008, in a match against the Seattle SuperSonics.

For the sake of completeness: Ricky Rubio had a triple double for the Jazz in 2018 . this however, came in a playoff game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
