We all know that Nikola Jokic is seeing his NBA career as somewhat of a side quest, and that’s exactly what we love about him. For the Joker, basketball is a job. A job he doesn’t even like sometimes, if we believe the Finals MVP himself.
But on the other hand, Nikola Jokic is the best basketball player in the world right now, and has been for a good while. Jokic proved again just how great he is during last night’s game-against the Golden State Warriors. Even though Jokic had his least efficient game of his last four, he still was extremely efficient with a 13-for-16 mark from the field. Then, with the game tied at 127 and the clock ticking down in the fourth quarter, Jokic drained 40-foot buzzer-beating three.

Hold on, you say… ‘did I just read a 13-for-16 shooting night was Nikola Jokic’s worst in four games?’ Yes, you’ve read correctly. Pointed out by NBA Twitter favorite, Nekias Duncan, Jokic has missed only a total of five shots in his last four games:
December 28 vs Grizzlies: 26 points on 11/11 FGs
December 29 vs Thunder: 19 points on 9/10 FGs
January 1 vs Hornets: 13 points on 6/7 FGs
January 4 vs Warriors: 34 points on 13/16 FGs
