NBA legend Allen Iverson recently expressed his admiration for Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic and stated that he would be the perfect backcourt teammate for him in today’s NBA.
Iverson, who played in the NBA from 1996 to 2010, is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and influential players of all time. His fearless style, exceptional ball-handling skills, and ability to create his own shot made him a scoring machine and a fan favorite.
In a recent interview with Rachel Nichols, Iverson was asked who he would want to share the backcourt with in today’s NBA. He immediately named Doncic, while saying the pairing would be deadly.
“I would want it to be Luka…Because he’s a big point guard. I can still play the two. He can guard the two, I can guard the one. I think it’d be just deadly.”
