Pascal Siakam is sizzling on the trade rumor mill right now, showcasing his championship experience alongside his impressive stats of 22.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game on 52.3% shooting from the field.
Several teams have been circling the Toronto Raptors forward, but the Golden State Warriors seem to be gaining the most traction. Given the team’s current situation, speculation is running high that acquiring Siakam from the Raptors might require them to put young forward Jonathan Kuminga on the table.
Opinions are pouring in regarding this trade, and Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George, for one, thinks a Siakam-Kuminga swap would benefit both teams. In his own podcast, he added that Siakam would flourish playing alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
“That’s a win for both sides. Like obviously, Golden State would have to add more just from contract meeting up… He (Siakam) can be a No.1 option, but that’s not where he’s the best at. I think him being the second, third option is where he can really shine. He’s a guy that can do a little bit of everything, and I think it works perfectly playing with Steph, playing with Klay. They spread the floor.”
