The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves once again at the heart of the rumor mill this season. Besides being in the spotlight with LeBron James, the main reason they’re a hot topic in the rumor mill is because of their struggle to become a top team this season.

Following a Western Conference Finals appearance and the addition of players like Christian Wood, Taurean Prince, and Jaxson Hayes, expectations were high for the Lakers to improve and secure a top position this season. However, the reality has been quite the opposite, as the Lakers currently find themselves outside the playoff picture.

With the NBA trade deadline approaching and the Lakers swirling in rumors, Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus has put forth a blockbuster three-team trade that he believes could turn the Lakers’ season around.

Per Bleacher Report

Grizzlies get:

Rui Hachimura

Gabe Vincent

Jaxson Hayes

Harry Giles III

2029 first-rounder

Lakers get:

Marcus Smart

Luke Kennard

John Konchar

Xavier Tillman Sr.

Dorian Finney-Smith

Nets get:

D’Angelo Russell

Jalen Hood-Schifino
