Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic was hospitalized Tuesday night at a Salt Lake City restaurant after a sudden and serious health issue – unconfirmed sources say it was a heart attack.
Milojevic, 46, had traveled with the Warriors for Wednesday night’s game against the Utah Jazz. There were players and coaches eating dinner together when the health incident occurred, the sources reported.
Milojevic, who joined Steve Kerr’s coaching staff in 2021, is a well-respected and popular coach in the NBA and international basketball community with a 15-year professional career that has taken him to Serbia, Spain, Montenegro and Turkey, among other places.
