Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey has been fighting some very serious accusations this season.
This past November, Giddey was accused of having an intimate relationship with an underage girl. Various videos and images of the guard, with the girl have surfaced on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Giddey didn’t speak on these accusations yet, and an NBA investigation remained inconclusive. The same can now be said regarding the police investigation: The Australian won’t face charges after the case was closed due to lack of corroborating evidence, as the individuals involved declined to cooperate.
Per TMZ Sports:
Newport Beach PD tells us the case — which was launched back in November — is officially closed … after officials found no corroborating evidence.
In other words, no one involved was willing to talk … and 21-year-old Giddey is in the clear.
