The Madison Square Garden faithful welcomed back former New York Knicks stars RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley with a standing ovation on Saturday, as the duo made their first appearance at the iconic arena since being traded to the Toronto Raptors a couple of weeks ago.
Barrett and Quickley, the fan-favorite guard known for his electrifying play, were treated with respect and admiration by the MSG crowd, who recognized their contributions to the team during their four seasons in New York.
As Barrett and Quickley stepped onto the court for pregame warmups, they received a standing ovation from the crowd, and the cheers erupted from the stands, filling the arena with a wave of nostalgia and appreciation.
