The Los Angeles Clippers secured a 125-114 home victory against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, due to an impressive finish.

Kawhi Leonard was outstanding during the Clippers’ 22-0 run to end the game, contributing 14 points in the final five minutes of the game.

With just five and a half minutes left on the clock, the Nets were leading by eleven points. However, within three minutes, the Clippers had already turned the game around, before pulling away, while winning by 11 points.

Leonard finished with 21 points, James Harden had 24 points and 10 assists, and Russell Westbrook ended the game with an impressive 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Westbrook continued to generate positive headlines after the game, when he made sure to congratulate courtside reporter Rahshuan Haylock on his promotion in front of everyone, before proceeding with his actual post game interview. What a great guy!

“First of all, no, congratulations to you, bro. First night, tonight. Give a round of applause to my boy that I’ve known for a long time. Congratulations to you, brother.”
