In December, just a couple of weeks after serving a five-game suspension for a headlock on Rudy Gobert, Draymond Green was once again ejected from the court, after delivering a punch to Suns big man, Jusuf Nurkić’s face.
After the incident, the NBA announced that Green has been suspended indefinitely.
While Green has since been reinstated, and at least hasn’t punched anyone since, fans are still waiting for Green to get into some kind of trouble again.
Then yesterday, the Warriors and the Suns played each other again, and the basketball world was ready for a new chapter in the Draymond Green – Jusuf Nurkic rivalry… and they were not disappointed.
The game included just too many stories and was too great, with one of the greatest endings this season.
Stephen Curry made a three-pointer with 0.7 seconds left to lead his Warriors over the Suns with 113-112, and in the Suns’ final possession.

But it was Draymond Green who denied former Warriors star Kevin Durant the inbounds pass, basically ending the game.
In true Draymond Green fashion, he stared down Durant after the final play, while thumping his chest and shouting in Durant’s direction:
“That’s me, motherf**ker!”

There also was plenty of Green vs Nurk action, with both repeatedly telling the other that they’re in fact ‘too small’.
“It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything. Just a matter of time until he hits somebody else again,” Nurkic said after the game. “I take back everything I said. He don’t deserve a chance.”

Either way, the game had it all, and fans absolutely loved it. This is also why NBA Twitter reacted accordingly:
Steph Curry called the Jusuf Nurkic postgame comments on Draymond Green “idiotic”

At this point, I wish he’d just let his play do the talking honestly.

Steph Curry: 19-of-29 from 3 the last eight quarters.

Stephen Curry is 8-of-13 from three so far tonight. That’s 18 (and counting) 3’s over the last two games — the most over a two-game span for any player this season.
