On Sunday, the Boston Celtics absolutely destroyed the Golden State Warriors with a final score of 140-88.
Jaylen Brown was one of the key performers for the Celtics in the win, scoring 29 points, while making five 3-pointers, therefore destroying the Warriors’ strategy of leaving him open on the perimeter.
Steve Kerr said the strategy was based on matchups and trying to prevent easy drives to the basket.
“You try different things. You have to pick your matchups. We wanted Draymond to be able to help on drives and make sure that we weren’t giving up easy stuff in the paint.”

After the game, Jaylen Brown hilariously approved of this strategy, saying that more teams should use it against him.
