Scary scenes uncured during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers last night.
Thunder center Bismack Biyombo experienced a frightening medical incident. This incident occurred in the first half while his teammates were exiting the court for a timeout. Biyombo was standing on the sideline, exchanging high-fives with his teammates, when he suddenly collapsed onto the floor.
There was no apparent cause for his fall; he simply collapsed onto his back. His teammates swiftly gathered around him, and eventually, he was able to walk to the locker room on his own accord.

Thankfully, the team said that he was cleared of any serious medical issues by the Trail Blazers’ staff soon after the incident, however, the Thunder held him out of the game as a precaution.
Bismack Biyombo has been cleared of any serious medical issue by the Blazers physicians but the Thunder will be conservative and hold him out the rest of the game for monitoring and further evaluation tomorrow.
