Shaquille O’Neal is one of the best, if not the best, big man of all time. His accolades speak for that, being a four-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP, 15-time All-Star, an MVP, and a two-time scoring champion among others.
Few would argue against O’Neal’s place in the all-time hierarchy of big men. However, sports radio personality Chris “Mad Dog” Russo sparks a debate, suggesting two-time MVP Nikola Jokic as a challenger.
Jokic is inarguably the best big man in the NBA today, and there is little doubt that he will ascend to the apex of the all-time big men list when it’s all said and done. However, before even all that, Russo thinks the Denver Nuggets superstar has already overtaken O’Neal.
“Jokic might be, might be, at the end of the day, the greatest center in the history of the NBA. ..He’s that good. He’s better than Shaq, I’ll tell you that right now. Better than Shaq.”
