If you were to guess which former or current NBA players have the most children, players like Dwight Howard and Shawn Kemp are the two popular figures that most likely come to mind.
While they are certainly at the top of the list, nobody beats former Houston Rockets point guard Calvin Murphy. Standing at 5-foot-9, Murphy is the smallest member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. He has shown a good ability to efficiently score on the court, averaging 17.9 points per game on 48.2% shooting from the field in 13 seasons in the NBA.
But even though his on court scoring was pretty good, it wasn’t nearly as good as his off court scoring – Murphy, who turns 76 today, has fathered 14 children with nine women. He may not have staggering records on the court, but he certainly got the nod with this one.
