We all know Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla is somewhat of a mad man – in the most positive of ways – and he’s proven just that again when he casually took the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy on a tour of Boston’s North End neighborhood. A swarm of fans gathered to congratulate the coach as he strolled through the streets.

The Larry O’Brien Trophy, a symbol of the NBA Finals victory, was not just a trophy to be admired from afar. Mazzulla allowed fans to get up close and personal with the nearly 30-pound trophy, creating an unforgettable experience for many. Videos and pictures shared on social media captured the joyous moments as some lucky fans got to touch the trophy while Mazzulla walked by.

 

 

The tour included visits to several local restaurants, where Mazzulla was met with cheers and applause. Fans and restaurant owners alike savored the precious memories with the superstar coach.
