Mascots are a vital part when it comes to entertaining fans in the NBA during game breaks and timeouts.
While some even play bigger roles in the All-Star dunk contest, others have had their feuds with opposing players (Devin Booker, Robin Lopez…)
Yes, mascots are important, but did you know that they also get paid incredibly well?! We first reported about this in October of 2022, when it was revealed that the Denver Nuggets’ mascot Rocky leads the pack, making an unreal $625,000 per year.
Now, this fact will certainly come to surface again, because the Denver Nuggets are reportedly looking for a new Rocky.
“CBS News Colorado has learned the Denver Nuggets are looking to hire the next “SuperMascot Rocky” … hoping to find someone who has at least three years of mascot experience, a background in gymnastics, a college degree, and a specific height requirement of between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-9.”
