Two Croatian NBA players, Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Clippers and Dario Saric of the Denver Nuggets, found themselves embroiled in a physical altercation at a bar in Athens, Greece early Monday morning. This incident came just hours after Croatia’s heartbreaking loss to Greece in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament final.
TMZ Sports obtained video footage of the altercation, which reportedly took place around 5:30 AM at the Bolivar Beach Bar near the OQT venue. The video shows Zubac apparently involved in a fight with another man before being restrained by bar security. At this point, Saric attempts to intervene but is taken to the ground in a chokehold.

The specific reason for the fight remains unknown. The disappointment of Croatia’s OQT defeat could be a contributing factor, but this is purely speculation. Neither player nor their teams have commented publicly on the incident.
The NBA is likely to investigate the incident to determine if any further action is necessary. Depending on the severity of the altercation, the players could face fines or even suspensions.
