Jrue Holiday has established himself as a matchup nightmare for offensive players. His lightning-fast footwork, knack for creating turnovers, and strong frame allow him to blanket opponents and play suffocating defense.
But even the most elite defenders have their kryptonite. During Team USA’s training camp for the 2024 Olympics, Holiday shared his thoughts on the offensive players who have given him the most trouble.
The 34-year-old defensive stalwart was first asked to give his top three defensive players to play against, and his answers were a little bit obvious. The real intrigue emerged when the conversation turned to the offensive players he found most challenging to guard.
“Top three toughest players to guard, ever? Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, and Kemba Walker,” Holiday revealed.
