In an episode of Netflix’s docuseries “Starting 5,” Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler accused Philadelphia 76ers’ Kelly Oubre of causing his MCL sprain during a play-in game last season. Butler, known for his competitive spirit, didn’t hold back in expressing his frustration over the incident.

During the game, Butler attempted a shot when Oubre collided with him, causing Butler to fall awkwardly and suffer a severe MCL sprain. Butler described Oubre’s actions as “wrestling moves,” criticizing the 76ers star for his aggressive play.

“F***ing Kelly Oubre jumping in the air doing wrestling moves on people, which is crazy,” Butler said in the episode.

The injury forced Butler to miss the entire playoff run, a significant blow to the Miami Heat’s postseason aspirations. Reflecting on the incident, Butler admitted that he was initially confident in his ability to play through the injury but ultimately had to sit out due to the severity of the sprain.
