In January, former NBA star Rajon Rondo was arrested on speeding, gun and drug charges.
The arrest took place in Indiana, and Rondo was cited for unlawful possession of a firearm, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Back in Janaury, the Indiana State Police said that Rondo was arrested after they pulled him over for speeding on Interstate 94 near Bloomington. The officers said that they smelled marijuana coming from the car and found a gun and marijuana inside.
Rondo was then taken to Jackson County Jail and posted bond. All of the charges against Rondo are misdemeanors, per the initial report.
Now, TMZ shared bodycam footage of the incident. During the traffic stop, the police officer indeed claimed to smell marijuana coming from Rondo’s vehicle. A subsequent search of the car led to the discovery of a firearm, resulting in Rondo’s arrest.
