In a recent episode ofThe OGs Show,Miami Heat legends Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem reminisced about their intense rivalry with the Boston Celtics during their playing days.

The two former teammates shared their thoughts on the physical and passionate battles they had with Celtics stars Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

Wade humorously expressed his eagerness to face Pierce and Garnett again, stating,

“We’d have been in those battles with Boston, with KG and Paul Pierce in them. Then is this and his chest bumping. People think you’re going to fight. I want to fight! I wanna almost fight. I ain’t did that in a long time.”

He recalled the chest-bumping and heated exchanges that characterized their matchups, highlighting the emotional stakes of those games. Haslem echoed Wade’s sentiments, admitting,

“I just wanna fight for real! That’s the problem, I still want to fight.”

He emphasized the competitive spirit that defined their rivalry, noting that the intensity of those battles was something he missed. The Heat and Celtics rivalry was marked by significant physicality and passion, with both teams vying for supremacy in the Eastern Conference.

The Heat came out on top in both of their playoff matchups with Wade and LeBron James at the helm, winning a five-game series in 2011 and taking the Celtics to Game 7 in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals.
