Michael Jordan Has Finally Sold His Famous Chicago Mansion At An Insane Pay Cut

For over 12 years, Michael Jordan wasn’t able to get rid of his Chicago mansion. That is how long one of the world’s most famous houses had been on the market.

Sure, the house is huge and not affordable for everyone, and also is Jordan branded so the buyer likely had to be an extremly wealthy basketball fan, but the price drop still is insane.

The house was originally listed for $29 million and had dropped to almost half of it to $14.9 million in 2022. It now was sold at a 67% price cut, at  the property was bought for $9.5 million. However, its initial listed price is enough to make fans’ jaws drop. Listed almost a decade ago, Jordan’s mansion had a starting sell price of $29 million on Zillow. Unfortunately, as the years went by, the mansion sat idle, with no buyers showing interest in buying the lavish property.

If you take a look what’s included, the price isn’t even unfair. First off, the 56,000-square-foot 7-acre compound features a private golf course, a pool with a grass island in the middle of it, a tennis court, a full court indoor basketball court, 9 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, a cigar room, a huge wine cellar, a fully equipped gym (seriously, this thing is huge), and a three bedroom guesthouse that is larger than an average house.

Have a look inside.
