Jared McCain, the rookie guard for the Philadelphia 76ers, recently shared a humorous post-surgery update on TikTok, bringing a smile to his fans while still under the influence of narcotics.
The 20-year-old, who underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in his left knee, took to social media from his hospital bed to thank his fans for their well wishes.
The video features McCain, slightly groggy but clearly in good spirits, addressing his followers with his trademark sense of humor.
“We the best music. Shout out Drizzy, shout out the Six God. … I don’t know, but bye TikTok, I’ll see you later,” McCain said, creating an instant viral moment.

While it remains unclear how long McCain will be sidelined, he has shown impressive performances in his first 23 NBA games, was one of the Sixers’ top shooters, and led the league’s rookie of the year race up until his injury.
