Bronny James, the eldest son of four-time NBA champion LeBron James, has been generating some buzz since being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers. He’s currently developing his game in the G-League with the South Bay Lakers, with many fans and analysts watching his progress closely.
Meanwhile, Dwyane Wade, LeBron’s longtime teammate and close friend, has voiced his belief that Bronny should be called up from the G-League to join the team’s roster. But apparently, it might not be because he thinks Bronny can contribute and help the Lakers win.
“Honestly, bring Bronny up, we want to see that. As a fan of the game, I am not looking at the Lakers and say they’re gonna win a championship. We want to see Bronny. This is not a championship team.”

It’s easy to imagine the excitement Bronny James would bring to the fans, particularly as he lines up alongside his father. But as intriguing as the father-son duo sounds, the Lakers aren’t exactly in a position to experiment.
The Lakers might not look like a championship team just yet, but they’re solidly in the playoff picture and working their way toward contention, as the ongoing trade rumors suggest. For Bronny, the rotation feels out of reach, especially as the team continues to build momentum.
