The Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets tied their own dubious record for the most missed three-pointers in an NBA game last night. The two teams combined to miss a staggering 75 three-point attempts in a 115-108 Bulls victory, which went into overtime.
The Bulls shot 18-of-60 from behind the three-point arc, while the Hornets went 10-of-43, combining for a total of 28 of 103 from three. During their last matchup earlier this season, the two teams had combined for 22 of 97 from three.
Chicago’s 42 missed three-pointers are tied for the sixth-most in NBA history. They previously missed 42 threes in a 143-107 loss to the Houston Rockets on November 17. The Hornets, on the other hand, missed 38 threes in their previous game against the Bulls.
