Abbie Stockard, a 22-year-old nursing student and former cheerleader at Auburn University, was crowned Miss America 2025 at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, Florida.
Stockard, who also won the title of Miss Alabama earlier in the summer, beat out 51 other contestants to claim the national title. Stockard’s victory has brought her into the spotlight, revealing her relationship with Walker Kessler, the center for the Utah Jazz.

The couple, who share the same birthday, have kept their relationship private until now. Stockard took to Instagram to celebrate Kessler’s birthday and express her gratitude for his support.
Kessler, who began his college basketball career at the University of North Carolina before transferring to Auburn, has been a standout player for the Jazz, averaging 10.4 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game this season. He congratulated Stockard on her achievement, sharing a heartfelt post on social media.
