Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban extended an olive branch to a fan ejected from the American Airlines Center  during Monday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings. The fan, along with his friend, was removed from the game after Taylor began shouting “FIRE NICO!” in protest of the Luka Dončić trade.

The incident quickly escalated, with Cuban reportedly shouting back at Taylor from across the arena. Despite the heated exchange, Cuban reached out to Bussey after the game and offered him courtside seats for Wednesday night’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors.

The famn who brought his 7-year-old son to the game, expressed gratitude for Cuban’s gesture, seeing it as a step towards mending the relationship between the team and its passionate fans.

“I feel like it’s a step in the right direction, at least from his standpoint,” the fan said.

The Mavericks had ejected him for violating the NBA’s code of conduct, citing derogatory comments and disruptive behavior. However, both fans maintain that they did nothing wrong and were simply exercising their right to voice their opinions.
