All-Star Saturday in San Francisco was a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions, filled with jaw-dropping dunks, sharpshooting showdowns, and a few cringe-worthy moments that left us all wondering, “Did that really just happen?”
Let’s start with the Slam Dunk Contest, where Mac McClung turned the event into his personal highlight reel. The man is a dunking machine, and his third consecutive title win showcased his gravity-defying skills once again. McClung’s dunks had fans on their feet and judges giving perfect scores left and right. But the real kicker? His first dunk, where he jumped over a Kia sedan parked in front of the basket. Yes, you read that right—a car! Talk about raising the bar (and the eyebrows).

Mac hitting his foot on the car, gaining a different momentum and was inches from landing on his back out of control is closest we ever actually came to never have a dunk contest ever again. Shit man. Be safe!

A great way to fix All-Star Weekend’s Saturday Night – let the overwhelming majority of the NBA know that Mac McClung has won 3 straight dunk contests during Black History Month.

Best part about Mac McClung is that he looks like the main character in a movie about a white kid who gets a headband from Vince Carter that gives him superpowers

Over in the Three-Point Contest, Tyler Herro showed that he’s the king of the arc, knocking off back-to-back champ Damian Lillard with a final shot that was nothing short of clutch.
Buddy Hield’s three point contest rounds are the perfect representation of the start, and continuation of all his NBA stints. DON‘T TRUST THE HONEYMOON PHASE!

The Skills Challenge was a nail-biter, with Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers pulling off a win over the hometown favorites, Draymond Green and Moses Moody of the Golden State Warriors. The highlight? When Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul decided to play by their own rules.
The duo, representing the San Antonio Spurs, took the court for the Skills Challenge with a plan that left everyone scratching their heads. Instead of attempting the required shots, Wembanyama and Paul decided to chuck the basketballs at the hoop without even looking.
The crowd quickly caught on to their antics and erupted in boos. The NBA officials wasted no time in disqualifying the pair for failing to make a “valid effort” on their shots.
Paul, visibly frustrated, argued with the officials and even tried to get an explanation from an NBA representative. Wembanyama, looking genuinely sick over the decision, admitted that the plan was his idea.
Donovan Mitchell even admitted that if Paul and Wembanyama hadn’t been disqualified, he might have tried the same strategy. In the end, Wemby and CP3’s attempt to game the system turned All-Star Saturday into a memorable and hilarious event.
