Another Thunder win, means more antics with Nick Gallo.

After the Thunder’s impressive win over the Los Angeles Clippers last night, the energy was still sky-high on the Intuit Dome court. While Nick Gallo was conducting his routine (they rarely are routine, to be fair) postgame interviews with Alex Caruso, Jalen Williams decided to make it another Thunder interview moment to remember.

With a wide grin, Williams strolled up behind Gallo mid-interview, draped a flashy chain around his neck, and crowned him with his own hat.

In the game, the Oklahoma City Thunder continued their impressive run, narrowly defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 103-101. The victory marked the Thunder’s sixth consecutive win, further solidifying their position as the top seed in the Western Conference.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder with 26 points, including two clutch free throws in the final seconds to seal the win against his former team. Aaron Wiggins provided a strong supporting performance, adding 19 points, while Isaiah Hartenstein contributed a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Caruso also played a pivotal role, scoring 14 points and hitting a crucial three-pointer late in the fourth quarter.

The Clippers, who entered the game on a five-game winning streak, put up a valiant effort. Kawhi Leonard delivered a standout performance with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while James Harden added 17 points and Ivica Zubac chipped in with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Despite their efforts, the Clippers were unable to capitalize on multiple opportunities to take the lead in the final moments.

The game was a back-and-forth battle, with the Clippers jumping out to a 34-24 lead after the first quarter. However, the Thunder responded with a dominant second quarter, outscoring the Clippers 33-17 to take a 57-51 lead into halftime. The teams traded blows throughout the second half, with the Thunder ultimately prevailing in the closing seconds.

The win snapped the Clippers’ eight-game home winning streak and dealt a blow to their hopes of moving into a tie for sixth place in the Western Conference standings.
