Last night, Stephen Curry delivered one of the many remarkable performances of his illustrious career, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 134-125 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Curry’s stat line was nothing short of extraordinary: 52 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals. His 12 three-pointers tied for the second-most in a single game. This was Curry’s second 50-point game of the season and the 15th of his career, tying him with Damian Lillard for the sixth-most 50-point games in NBA history. More so, it was the 10th 50-point game of Curry’s career after turning 30-years old… an NBA record.
The significance of this win extended beyond personal accolades. The Warriors secured the tiebreaker against the Grizzlies, moving into fifth place in the Western Conference standings. With the playoffs looming, Curry’s performance was a timely reminder of his ability to rise to the occasion.
Curry’s brilliance was evident from the start, as he hit his first five shots, including four triples. By halftime, he had already scored 32 points, shooting 11-of-16 from the field and 8-of-10 from beyond the arc.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr praised Curry’s performance, calling it “incredible” and highlighting his ability to thrive under pressure.
“Fifty-two points with people draped all over him all game long—the audacity, the belief, it’s incredible to watch Steph at work,” Kerr said.
While Curry stole the spotlight, the Grizzlies faced challenges of their own. Ja Morant led Memphis with 36 points, but the team’s lack of scoring support and recent coaching changes proved to be obstacles. The Grizzlies have now lost four consecutive games, raising questions about their playoff readiness.
