Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about the emotional toll of her relationships with former NBA stars Tristan Thompson and Lamar Odom. In the dramatic season six finale of The Kardashians, Khloe shared her frustrations over years of betrayal and disrespect, describing how she often felt like a “doormat” in her relationships.
During a heartfelt conversation with her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Khloe didn’t hold back in expressing her feelings.
“What does it say on my forehead? ‘F**king doormat?’” she said. “Because I have been, in so many different ways. But then that gets taken advantage of.”

Her remarks highlighted the emotional damage caused by repeated infidelities and betrayals from both Thompson and Odom. Khloe’s relationship with Lamar Odom began in 2009 with a whirlwind marriage, but it was marred by infidelity and addiction issues, ultimately ending in 2016. Her on-and-off relationship with Tristan Thompson, which lasted from 2016 to 2022, was similarly fraught with cheating scandals. Despite the challenges, Khloe shares two children with Thompson.
Khloe expressed particular frustration with how both men acted as if nothing had happened, despite their past actions.
“It’s really insulting to me,” she said. “They do these outrageous things and then act like it’s all fine, like nothing ever happened.”
Her comments reflected the emotional baggage she continues to carry, even as she works to move forward. While Kendall Jenner suggested Khloe could have shown more compassion during her reunion with Lamar, Khloe acknowledged the lingering pain from their contentious past.
“The last time I saw this person was very contentious… it wasn’t good,” she said. “You have to protect yourself and grow.”
Khloe made it clear that she’s no longer willing to play the role of the forgiving ex.
“You have to protect yourself and grow,” she stated, drawing a line under years of painful history and public scrutiny.
