The Los Angeles Clippers’ playoff series against the Denver Nuggets took an amusing turn during Game 3 at the Intuit Dome, thanks to the antics of fans in the arena’s famed “Wall Section.”
Known for its college-like atmosphere and creative attempts to distract opposing players, the Wall Section pulled out all the stops when Nuggets star Nikola Jokic stepped to the free-throw line. As Jokic prepared to shoot, fans donned horse head masks—a playful nod to Jokic’s well-known love for horses.
The horse distractions worked on Jokic

Some of the seats in the “The Wall” at Intuit Dome have horse hats on them, I assume to try and distract Nikola Jokic?

While the horse heads may not have completely thrown Jokic off his game – he recorded a triple-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists – the Nuggets struggled to keep up with the Clippers, ultimately falling 117-83.
Jokic, who grew up in Serbia with a passion for horses and horse racing, has often spoken about his love for the animals and his plans to focus on them after his basketball career.
