Game 4 of the first-round playoff series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers was packed with memorable moments, including Mike Conley’s improbable block on LeBron James.
The 37-year-old Timberwolves guard stunned the crowd at Target Center by rejecting James’ shot at the rim. Adding to the moment was Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, whose postgame reaction was as entertaining as the block itself.

The play occurred in the third quarter, with James attempting to finish a lob pass near the rim. Conley used his off-hand to swat the ball away, leaving James and the Lakers stunned.
After the game, Edwards couldn’t resist poking fun at both Conley and James during his postgame interview.
“Man, did you see that? I was like, ‘Alright, old man,'” Edwards joked, referring to Conley’s age. “Nah, that was dope.”

Edwards, meanwhile, delivered a stellar performance, scoring a game-high 43 points and leading the Timberwolves to a crucial win that put them up 3-1 in the series. As the Timberwolves now head back to Los Angeles for Game 5, the question is whether Minnesota can close out the series or the Lakers mount a comeback.
