Shaquille O’Neal Has The Highest Purchase In Walmart History
Shaquille O’Neal has broken many records on the court, but on the latest ‘Real Sports’ on HBO, he talked about a record he owns off the court – the highest purchase in Walmart history.
When Shaq was traded from the Miami Heat to the Phoenix Suns, the Suns already had an appartment ready for him. But apparently, the appartment wasn’t well furnished, much to the displease of O’Neal, who therefore went on a shopping spree at the local Walmart.
In Walmart, Shaq spent so much money that American Express thought his card was stolen.
“I spent about $70,000 at Walmart in one night.I spent so much that American Express thought my card was stolen.”
