The Real MVP – Doris Burke Destroying Defenders In High School
I don’t blame Drake for crushing on Doris Burke. Burke is a great woman. She loves basketball, knows the sport and is also able to play – even while wearing heels.
Now a video from 1983 has gone viral. This video shows some of Burke’s, then known as Doris Sable, high school highlights. The then 18-year seemed to dominated as the starting point guard of the Manasquan High School women’s basketball team.
After graduating Burke then committed to Providence, where she made two All-Big East second teams and became the school’s all-time leader in assists.
