Twitter Reacts To Carmelo Anthony Getting Every Single Penny Of His $27.9 Million
Yesterday, Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Atlanta Hawks in a three-way deal. The Thunder received Dennis Schröder from Atlanta and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot from Philadelphia. The Hawks meamwhile now have Justin Anderson (Sixers) on their roster and receive a lottery-protected 2022 first-round draft pick from the Thunder. Philly gets Mike Muscala from Atlanta.

You've gotta respect Carmelo's commitment to get every dollar owed to him. He didn't always prioritize wins throughout his career, but he did things his way, and that included getting paid at every stop with full control of his future. https://t.co/SOqDtAkioh
