Tristan Thompson Sucker-Punched Draymond Green At LA Nightclub
Draymond Green and Tristan Thompson were figthing throughout the entire NBA Finals. Their argument peaked in Game 4, when Green offered to meet Thompson in the streets.
Thompson allegedley took Green up on the offer and punched him in a Los Angeles club after this year’s ESPYS.
Draymond reportedly came in peace and offered an apologizing handshake to Tristan who replied with a ‘nah’. Green then tried again, saying ‘come on, I didn’t mean it’, when Thompson sucker punched him.
Non other than LeBron James and Kevin Durant came in to separate them.

Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic tells the story a bit differently. But also says that Thompson was the aggressor.
“In what would be best told by the late great storyteller Charlie Murphy, the ‘streets’ turned out to be the swanky Delilah restaurant in West Hollywood on July 18. Both Green and Thompson were guests of LeBron for this ultra-exclusive affair—which prohibited phones and cameras. None of the attendees expected the on-the-court drama to flare back up in this setting.
Which is why everyone was stunned when Thompson, according to sources, out of nowhere attacked Green.
No argument. No squaring up. No taking it outside.
‘It was a sucker punch,’ said one source who attended the party. ‘But, to be honest, it wasn’t really a punch. It was more like a shove.'”
