Lamar Odom Talks To Kevin Hart About Being A Walking Miracle, Having Suffered 12 Strokes And 6 Heart Attacks

On October 13, 2015, Odom was hospitalized and placed into an induced coma for more than two weeks after he was found unconscious at a legal brothel in Nevada. Odom also suffered kidney failure and 12 strokes and two heart-attacks during the incident.

Odom, who physically recovered well now made an appearance on Kevin Hart’s Season 2 premiere of Cold as Balls. They talked about him almost dying. Odom said he’s just happy to be alive.

Hart: Is Lamar Odom fully over the addiction side?

Odom: Yes.

Hart: How does that make you feel?

Odom: Great, bro. Everyday I’m alive.

Hart: Everyday.

Odom: It’s a good day to be alive, considering the alternative.

Hart: 100 percent. Do you now realize how close to death you were?

Odom: Yeah, all my doctors that see me say I’m a walking miracle. I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks when I was in a coma.

Hart: …. God damn.
