Lonzo Ball Angrily Calls Out LaMelo In Front Of Whole Team
This past December, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball signed professional contracts with Lithuanian team Prienu Vytautas. In becoming professional players, both ended their NCAA eligibility. But the majority of their playing time came in Big Baller Brand exhibition games, which were played against subpar competition such as amateur and youth teams. The team wasn’t happy with the Ball’s and neither were the teammets. Jeff Goodman joined ESPN’s ‘Outside the Lines’ and said that, according to teammates, LaMelo Ball was called lazy and arrogant.
Now, during the latest episode of Ball in the Family, Lonzo watched his brothers’ JBA team, the Los Angeles Ballers, practice after a blowout loss to New York. In this practice, LaMelo was joking around, not listening to his coach.
Lonzo was very mad, he started criticizing his brother in front of everyone.
“Man, y’all just need to play harder, to be honest. What happened in New York. That sh*t can’t happen. Losing by 30. Like, that sh*t not cool. Melo, you know that, bro. You’re out here laughing like that’s a joke. Y’all are professionals. In real basketball, that’s gonna get your ass traded or waived. Y’all need to get better … It should make you mad, you’re the f*cking captain of the team. Y’all are building bad habits and it starts with you. You’re over there running bullsh*t lines. Y’all play for LA. You got that on your chest. Y’all need to get better.”
