Patrick Beverley On Why Lou Williams Is His Favorite Teammate Ever

Kevin Durant vs Patrick Beverley was one of the best matchups in the first round of this year’s playoffs. Even though he’s undersized for the job, Beverley gave it his all and even earned the respect of Kevin Durant.

This is what Beverley has been know for for his entire career. Brilliant defense, hustle plays and alway giving 100% while not shying away from a confrontation.

Beverley is an unrestricted free agent this summer and we don’t know where he’ll be playing next season. Bev himself now said that it will be hard for him to leave the Clippers since Lou Williams is like a brother to him. That’s what he told NBA.com, when asked about his favorite teammate:

“Favorite teammate ever, teammate ever. When I came to Atlanta, he was the first person I got up with. We talk about everything, family. He’s like my brother. We’ve spent a lot time together with the Rockets and Clippers. That’s gonna be a big point this offseason. If I do choose to leave (the Clippers), I’d be leaving him, my brother Lou Will. And that would be tough on me.”
