Kawhi Leonard Interested In Short-Term Extension With Raptors

Crazy what a couple of months can do!

After the deal that sent DeMar DeRozan to the San Antonio Spurs and Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors, Kawhi Leonard didn’t seem too happy about the deal.

A lot has happened since then. Leonard is back to full strength, after a forgettable 2017-18 campaign and has led his new team to the NBA Finals, in which they currently lead the two-time defending champions from Oakland. While a lot of people considered the Kawhi-Raptors relationship a one-year thing at first, they can’t be as sure anymore.

Now, some new rumors claim that Kawhi might be interested in signing a short-term deal to contend for a title for a few more years.
