Well, that was quick. It’s only been two days, but Anthony Davis already has his own mural in Los Angeles.
After months of going back and forth, the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans have agreed on a trade. The Pelicans will send Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in this year’s NBA Draft.
After a trade had failed before this year’s trade deadline, both teams’ season got derailed in the aftermath. Now, 4 months later, both front offices are finally happy with the other side’s offer. According to various reports, the Lakers getting this year’s No. 4 draft pick played a key role in the trade.
L.A. based artist Gustavo Zermeño Jr. already put up a huge mural. He created the AD piece in an all-night session with some friends. The new season can’t come soon enough for Lakers fans…
