Shaquille O’Neal Donates House To Family Of Isaiah Payton

This past summer, 12-year old Isaiah Payton was shot in the spine during a high school football game at Lakewood Stadium in Atlanta, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down.

When Payton will leave the hospital, he will have a new house to come home to, thanks to Shaquille O’Neal.

Payton’s family (his mother and brother) was living in a small apartment that is not wheelchair accessible, but Shaq came in for the help:

“It’s just sad. It could have been any one of us. It could have been my son. It could’ve been your cousin. She was living in a one-bedroom apartment with her two boys, so we found her a house in a nice area.”
