Knicks Ejected Fan For Starting ‘Fire Dolan’ Chant During Blowout Loss
After all of the freedom of speech, and freedom of expression mess between China and the NBA before the start of the season, who would have thought that the Knicks actually disvalue this fundamental right just like China?!
Well then again, on the other hand, it’s the Knicks!
When the Knicks hit a new low (yes, we all are surprised how they always manage to find yet another low), during their blowout loss against the Cavs the other day, one fan had enough and started a ‘fire Dolan’ chant.
Since Dolan isn’t exactly known as someone who appreciates criticism, the fan who started the chant was thrown out of the arena.
He’s in great company though, as not only fans have previously had a similar destiny, but also Knicks legends and celebrities, such as Charles Oakley (remeber?!) and Ethan Hawke.
Not having to witness the second half might have been a blessing in disguise for the fan after all.

The one fan chanting “Fire Dolan” tonight is getting escorted out of his seat by MSG security

6 security guards just took me out my seat at Madison Square Garden for chanting "fire Dolan"
Masculinity and privilege can be so fragile.
I am a life long Knicks fan.
My father is a life long Knicks fan.
Knicks fans deserve better.

Lol I was escorted to the basement where they told me I could go back so long as I followed the "code of conduct"
Aka
Not chanting #FireDolan
I chose to leave and spend my money somewhere else.
