Tim Duncan & Manu Ginobili Both Had Heartwarming Speeches For Tony Parker
After playing in San Antonio for 17 seasons, winning four championships with the Spurs in the process, Tony Parker was looking for a new challenge and joined the Charlotte Hornets for the 2018-19 season.
Surprisingly, the Hornets won both games against the Spurs last season, which led to one special accomplishment. Tony Parker became the only player in NBA history to have a positive record against every active franchise.
Well, after his short Hornets stint, Parker retired after last season and now was back where he belongs. Last night, the San Antonio Spurs celebrated Parker’s Jersey retirement.
His former teammates, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili were in attendance as well and the Big 3 were reunited. Both, Duncan and Ginobili, had prepared heartwarming speeches for their point guard.
