Jimmy Butler: Prime Derrick Rose Was The Most Unstoppable Player

Even though we all love Derrick Rose, we all know that he will never return to the level of play that saw him become the leagues youngest MVP in NBA history.

Having had terrible luck with injuries throughout his career, unfortunately made Rose one of the biggest ‘what ifs’ in NBA history.

While he has played extremely well and efficient in these past two seasons, the incredible athleticism Rose once had isn’t there anymore.

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler may have only played one season with prime D-Rose, but that year was enough for Butler to know that he was special. Butler now revealed that prime Derrick Rose was the most unstoppable player he has played with in his career.

Per The Players’ Tribune:

“Man, I was there with prime D-Rose, like MVP Rose. When I would see him do stuff in practice, I thought, ‘Man, that’s absolutely incredible.’ And then he’d go and do it two times in the game. I was like, ‘This guy is for real.'”
