Kevin Durant’s Perfect Response To Fat Joe Calling Him Out
As we all know, Kevin Durant joined the Brooklyn Nets this past NBA summer.
When Durant, who was rumored to join the New York Knicks for the better part of this past year, explained why he and other free agents won’t join the New York Knicks, it was yet another reality check for the franchise and its fans:
“Fans expect players to join the Knicks because of their brand but players have grown up watching the Knicks suck and they aren’t cool anymore.”
Knicks fan, rapper Fat Joe, didn’t seem to be too much of a fan of KD’s statement and, in an interview, he talked about Durant and Kyrie Irving’s decision to go to the Nets.
“They ain’t want that New York Knick pressure. They didn’t want that media attention…They didn’t want that so they said, alright, we want New York, but let’s do the lesser of the drama.”
