DeMarcus Cousins Still A Possibility To Play This Year
There haven’t been many players as unlucky as DeMarcus Cousins in these past few years.
Cousins has suffered a torn quad, a torn achilies and a torn ACL, all in the space of 20 months. These three injuries are considered among the worst in all of sports.
The latest, the torn ACL, happened during a pick up game this past offseason, just when Cousins himself said that he was back to being his old self, thanks to the hard training and workouts over the course of the NBA summer.
So it’s Groundhog Day for Boogie and he’s woking on yet another comeback, and while there’s still a long way ahead of him, he has a chance to play this season.
That’s what his coach, Frank Vogel now told the media.
“Cousins was cleared for a little bit of light warmup stuff. But that’s just like light jogging and those types of things. There is still a long way to go.
As far as I know he’s still on track. He’s still a possibility to play this year, but I can’t really go into more detail.”
