NBA Twitter Reacts To Dion Waiters Signing With Lakers And It’s As Funny As You Imagine
Low self-esteem has never been a problem for Dion Waiters, although his NBA career has been very strange so far, to say the least.
The Cavaliers’ 4th pick of the 2012 NBA draft, started off very promising in his first two years with Cleveland, but had his career gotten derailed a bit in recent years, not least due to ongoing injuries. Waiters has suffered never-ending sprained ankle and knee problems, and just when he was ready to make a proper comeback, he sabotaged himself over and over again by misbehaving and therefore getting suspended.
But now, Waiter’s got a fresh start after signing with the Los Angeles Lakers for the rest of the season. He’ll team up with LeBron James again, who he already was teammates with in 2014-15 before being traded after 33 games.
As you can imagine, due to Waiters’ past escapades (eating weed infused gummies, calling in sick but posting pictures of himself on a yacht, shooting whenever he’s got the ball), NBA Twitter took a field trip.
